We assisted VBMS in replacing one of 3 subsea cables between Thorness Bay on the Isle of Wight and Lepe, at the mouth of Beaulieu River.
We used our Willcarry 300 barge and the Willendeavour to carry out this work. These cables supply the Isle of Wight with electricity. This has been the first subsea electrical installation under the Solent for 40 years and was a £14 million project.
