SHC Aware Gear Series
Mobil SHC AwareTM Gear Series are a range of high performance, anti-wear gear oils for use in marine applications and meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) guidelines for “environmentally acceptable lubricants”. They provide excellent wear protection for gears and bearings and safeguard equipment from rust and corrosion. They also possess outstanding oxidation properties, which help to extend oil life, and offer a wide operating temperature range and excellent low temperature start-up. Mobil SHC Aware Gear Series demonstrate excellent air release properties versus typical mineral gear oils, resulting in less air entrainment and protection from cavitation. SHC Aware ST Series
Mobil SHC AwareTM ST Series lubricants are high performance, emulsifying stern tube oils for marine stern tube systems that meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) guidelines for “environmentally acceptable lubricants”. Mobil SHC Aware ST Series emulsifies readily with seawater to form a stable water-in-oil emulsion that is adhesive and an excellent lubricant. It provides effective rust protection in the presence of seawater and the lubricating film is resistant to water washing so that corrosion protection is maintained for extended periods under severe operating conditions.

Mobil SHC AwareTM H Series lubricants are high performance, anti-wear hydraulic oils for modern high pressure hydraulic systems that meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) guidelines for “environmentally acceptable lubricants”. They provide excellent wide temperature range performance above and beyond the capabilities of non-synthetic environmentally acceptable oils. Mobil SHC AwareTM Grease EP 2 is a high performance synthetic grease designed specifically for applications which are environmentally sensitive and meets the requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP). This leading product is readily biodegradable and virtually non-toxic grease and is formulated based on biodegradable saturated ester base oils and a lithium/calcium soap thickener. It does not emulsify and has excellent water wash and salt water corrosion resistance.
