New Handling Equipment & Yard Development for Growing Cargo Operations

Williams Transport Services has strengthened its growing cargo handling operations with a significant investment in handling equipment and yard development.

The arrival of a new reach stacker will enable the cargo team to increase throughput, and overall project efficiency is improved with a vastly expanded cargo yard. The reach stacker is capable of handing loaded containers up to 40 tonnes, enabling freight to be secured onto flat racks at ground level.

A new cargo yard is nearing completion, enabling a 1 acre workspace for the cargo handling team. Coupled with a successful transport yard at the Southampton HQ, the Williams Transport Services team will be equipped to offer a one-stop solution for freight forwarders.
