This month the exciting international canoe world championship took place in San Francisco, the event is held every three years around the world with competitors from Canada, England, Sweden, Germany, Australia and the US. This cup being the 19th international Canoe World Championship we at Williams Shipping supported the British international canoe team.

Providing a 40 foot shipping container to store all Alistair’s equipment over to San Francisco we used our storage yard to load the container and further transfer the container onto a lorry for transport. Through our support and withthe teams tremendous talent and high commitment to the sport they achieved third place.

I just wanted to say thank you – it was a very challenging site to work at and make delivery to. Your drivers showed courtesy, patience and professionalism throughout the day
